Kjaer Weis Eyeshadow in Blue Wonder Swatches, Review, PhotosI think the fact that some natural beauty companies are now offering the option of buying eyeshadow refills is just fantastico! I decided that since I wanted to try out some of Kjaer Weis’ shadows so bad, that I buy some of their refills because I’ve been wanting to begin making my own eyeshadow palette for awhile now. It was also a much cheaper option for me seeing as if you purchase it with the refillable compact it costs $44 compared to the $22 I paid without all of the pretty spectacular looking packaging.

Kjaer Weis’ Eyeshadow in Blue Wonder is a “matte deep pool/blue jay feather color”. I would describe it as a deep smokey navy or dark denim blue color that goes onto the eye very smoothly and is not at all powdery or chalky. This shadow actually has a very nice and silky texture that is very easy to pack on quite intensely even without a base underneath. It also didn’t take a lot of product to get a very pigmented and intensified color on the lid which was awesome. This eyeshadow lasted about 7 hours on me before fading into a much less vibrant version of itself without much creasing at all.

Kjaer Weis’ Blue Wonder is a matte eyeshadow with no shimmer and performs a lot like a high end product in terms of its quality. The only real downside to this product is that it is a bit on the pricey side compared to the amount of product you get which is quite little. I was a bit bummed out to see how small the eyeshadow was compared to my other eyeshadows from Nvey Eco, which appear to be like the size of a quarter compared to the Kjaer Weis eyeshadow that appears to be the size of a dime compared to them.

That’s not all that much to fuss about considering the fact that these do perform very well and the pigmentation of this eyeshadow is insane! For that I would definitely purchase some more of their eyeshadows when I have the money to and I’m actually looking forward to trying out some more of their eyeshadows, lip tints, and their cream blushes too!

Have any of you tried Kjaer Weis’ products? If so, what was your experience with them? Let me know in the comments below!
